Real Name of the Son

In this video, I want to talk about the name of God (Elohiym in Hebrew) the Father Yahuah or YHWH in Hebrew, and His Son the Messiah, (Yahusha in Hebrew). Most people in the world today understand the name of Yahuah’s Son to be Jesus because the New Testament was written in Greek. The name is written to be Ἰησοῦς, οῦ, ὁ according to Strong’s Concordance.

The transliteration of that name is: Iésous, pronounced ee-yay-sus or E-A-zeus as Greek was the common language of the day. Problem though ...

There is no letter “J” in the ancient Hebrew, so that was added in later as we see with “Jesus” in English.

The problem with translations and transliterations is that a proper name is lost in that process. For example, the name George sounds like “Hore hay” or “Whore hay” in Spanish. Totally different and people used to George in English may not like being called something else, especially if the meaning or sound is different in another language.

Some say but the Creator created all languages, so He knows what we mean and that’s fine -- that we can call the Son “Jesus” or whatever feels like it’s an okay translation.

Remember that it is written in Ephesians chapter 4 verse 5,

There is:

“One Lord, one faith, one baptism,”
Ephesians 4:5

Yes, one baptism in El ADONAI, Yahusha. But, what if you were baptized in the name of Anti-Christ, for example. I’m speaking in hyperbole here. Would it count as baptism in the true Messiah?

No, brothers and sisters, it would not.

What if you believed a statue or idol was the Messiah or Elvis was the Messiah, and you were baptized in that name, would it count?

I think you’ll agree the answer is clearly no.

Now, before you run out to jump in a river, lets read some more:

Isaiah 52:6
Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I.

Matthew 18:20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Who’s name do you pray in? I pray in YAHUSHA’s name as I understand the name to be pronounced.

Exodus 23:13
And in all things that I have said unto you be circumspect: and make no mention of the name of other gods (*elohiym), neither let it be heard out of thy mouth.

Other gods -- this can also apply to false names attributed to YAHUAH (the Father) or YAHUSHA (the Son). We read about that already.

Genesis 21:33
And Abraham planted a grove in Beer-sheba, and called there on the name of the Lord (*Adonai) (*Yahuah El Olam), the everlasting Elohiym.

Exodus 20:7
Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord (*Yahuah Elohayka) thy God in vain; for the Lord (*YAHUAH Adonai) will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

This can also be translated those who destroy His name or corrupt.A name destroyed through corruption. Interesting.

Micah 4:5
For all people will walk every one in the name of his god (*elohiym), and we will walk in the name of the Lord our God (*YAHUAH Elohaynu) for ever and ever.

Isaiah 48:1
Hear ye this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the Lord (*YAHUAH Adonai), and make mention of the God (*Elohiym) of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.

Isaiah 50:10
Who is among you that feareth the Lord (*YAHUAH Adonai), that obeyeth the voice of his servant, that walketh in darkness, and hath no light? let him trust in the name of the Lord (*YAHUAH Adonai), and stay upon his God (*Elohiym).

Matthew 23:39
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord (*YAHUAH Adonai).

Mark 11:10
Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord (*YAHUAH Adonai): Hosanna in the highest.

Mark 16:17
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

Luke 2:21
And when eight days were accomplished for the circumcising of the child, his name was called YAHUSHA, which was so named of the angel before he was conceived in the womb.

Luke 11:2
And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

Luke 13:35
Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord (*YAHUAH Adonai).

John 2:23
Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.

John 14:13
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

John 14:26
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost (*Ruach Ha Quodesh), whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Acts 3:16
And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.

The name Jesus wasn’t at all seen in any English language literature until the year 1704.

The Greek name was Iesous (pronounced aye zeus), and that the name found in the 1535 Coverdale bible, the 1560 Geneva bible, and the 1611 King James bible, was Iesus (ee-yay-sus).

Would the Hebrew Mary (Miryam) have used a Greek name like Iesous when the Messiah was to sit on the throne of David in Hebrew Israel? Hardly.

What seems best; to use the incorrect name because of a council of men or the correct Hebrew Name as best we understand it?

From the Eth Cepher:

“But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of Yah appeared unto him in a dream, saying: Yoceph, son of David, fear not to take unto you את Miryam your woman: for that which is conceived in her is of the Ruach Ha’Qodesh. 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and you shall call his name Yahusha: for he shall save his people from their sins.”
Mattithyahu (Matthew) 1:20-21

What is the את Cepher?

This collection of writings in the את Cepher (pronounced et' sef’-er) is a restoration of the books traditionally recognized as set-apart (holy) Scripture and also includes Chanoch (Enoch) and Yovheliym (Jubilees) as found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, together with the recaptured writing of the Cepher Ha’Yashar (Jasher) and the Apocalypse of Baruch (2 Baruch), the recapture of those books recognized in the Septuagint, and is completed with the last two writings of the Makkabiym (3 and 4 Maccabees). The את Cepher sets forth the set-apart (holy) name and set-apart (holy) identities in an English transliteration (also available in Spanish), and additionally restores the names of over 3,100 people and places found in the original Ivriyt (Hebrew) language, all of which have also been transliterated into English.

My hope is that this information will encourage you to do your own research. My prayer is that the truth of this information will have a positive affect on you and bring you into a closer fellowship with the Son, Yahusha.

I realize it's going to be a difficult thing to get used to the Hebrew Name of Messiah because most of us were raised thinking it was Jesus and as believers, we're used to praying in that name. It's our whole foundation of thinking but I personally believe He would not emphasize the importance of His Name so many times if it wasn't important. The Name is very important so we want to make sure we get it right and call upon His true Name in all situations!

I don’t know much about the Torah Institute or Torah Zone and I only linked those in here for you to do some research on the proper Name of YAHUAH the Father and YAHUSHA the Son from a language study found there and nothing more.

I recommend you do your own research. I’m learning just like you and I don’t claim to have everything right. I just want to serve the Father and the Son and get the message out as I believe we are indeed in the last days.---

A blessing from Numbers 6:24-26

Yahuah bless you, and guard you: Yahuah make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: Yahuah lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.

Here’s my question:

Is it fine?

So, today, many people believe that it is not important and that the Creator (Elohiym) knows what we mean and that it’s fine and not at all a big deal. After all, the father (Yahuah) knows all things.

I’ll agree with Yahuah/YHWH (God) the Father knowing all things.

I grew up believing that Jesus was the name of the Son of Elohiym (God).

It is believed that the Hebrew name given to Messiah was (Joshua in English), pronounced Yeshuah (no J sound).

The “J” sound used to pronounce Jesus’ name in English does not exist in Hebrew or Aramaic, which is strong evidence that Messiah was called something different by his contemporaries.

The New Testament was originally written in Greek, which not only uses an entirely different alphabet than Hebrew but also lacks the “sh” sound found in “Yeshua.”

The New Testament authors decided to use the Greek “s” sound in place of the “sh” in Yeshua and then added a final “s” to the end of the name to make it masculine in the language. When the Bible was translated into Latin from the original Greek, the translators rendered Jesus’ name as “Iesus.”

Some historians speculate the version of the name “Jesus” originated in Switzerland.

In Swiss German, the “J” is pronounced more like an English “Y”, or the Latin “Ie” as in “Iesus”. When the Catholic Queen, “Bloody” Mary I took the Engish throne in 1553, droves of English Protestant scholars fled, and many ultimately found refuge in Geneva. It was there that a team of some of the brightest English minds of the day produced the Geneva Bible that used the “Jesus” Swiss spelling.

Interesting that this also happens to be the exact location of CERN’s supercollider which they are using as a key to open the bottomless pit of fallen angels.

Also, note how CERN is located in a place that was once called “Appolliacum” (“Apollyon” in Greek means “destruction”) in Roman times they believed it was a gateway to the underworld. You can’t make this stuff up.

Since Elohiym (God) stresses the importance of His Name all throughout Scripture so many times, I prefer to use His Hebrew Name as I understand it. Wouldn't you?

The spelling of the name “Jesus” has been in use for less than 400 years! The 1611 King James Version of the Bible still spelled His name “Iesous”, not “Jesus”. The name Iesous was used in Greek, Latin, and English until the 17th century, when the letter “J” was introduced as a replacement for the letter “I”. nevertheless, it was still pronounced “Ee-yay-sus” for a long time before it eventually took the “J” sound that we know today in the word “Jesus”. This means the pronunciation of the name “Jesus” is a very recent development in the English language.

Well, are you confused yet?

What is His Name?

Shall we call the Son Iésous, pronounced ee-yay-sus or E-A-zeus?

Hey Sus?

Did you know that Zeus was the supreme god of the Greeks, a mighty deity who meted out justice from atop Mount Olympus. Hailed as the father of both mortals and immortals, Zeus was the god of the sky and weather, but was also connected with law and order, the city, and the household.

The numerous other gods of the Greek pantheon were all subordinate to Zeus, and none could rival him in power.

I find it interesting because the parallel to Lucifer/Ha’Satan/Halel is unmistakable. We believe that Satan fathered Cain since after the killing of Abel, Cain was not considered Adam’s lineage, so he fathered Seth to continue his seed. That’s for another study though.

Satan, along with the Watchers took women as mentioned in the book of Enoch they fathered giants – men of renown as mentioned in the book of Genesis as well.

Here’s another parallel:

Ephesians 2:1-3

2 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to (*Satan) the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

Zeus is the sky and thunder god in ancient Greek religion and mythology, who rules as king of the gods on Mount Olympus. His name is cognate with the first syllable of his Roman equivalent Jupiter. These, as Apollo, Saturn, Apollyon, Shiva and many more are all associated with the Devil, who is Satan (the title for Lucifer or Halel.

I believe the Messiah’s Name is NOT Jesus, not Iésous. His Name is Hebrew.
Some say Yeshua. I personally believe it is Yahusha and pronounced so to the best of my understanding. For many of us today, this is something new and may take time to get used to because we've all been taught something else. In this study, I'll cover why we need to rethink all of this.

Yahusha is the most accurate transliteration of the name given as Husha / Yahusha son of Nun, whom the English world has always called Joshua.

The name Yahusha means I AM HE who avenges, defends, delivers, helps, preserves, rescues, saves, brings salvation, your Savior, who brings you to victory.

Some people believe it is Yehusha or Yeshua. We are trying to pronounce the Name of Messiah as best as we understand it; however, I don’t want to use a Greek name or any other name that is so far off that it doesn’t sound the same or mean the same thing as intended in Hebrew – especially when it has similarities to Zeus, coincidental or not.

Is that coincidental?

I believe that what the Creator (Elohiym) is doing right now is miraculous.

The Name ...

Is it wrong to call Him “Jesus”?

In my own opinion, it is wrong because it is not His Name but this requires patience to understand this and gentleness when speaking to others.

Let’s take a look at the Hebrew:

If you think I have this wrong, please do your own research. I don’t claim to have everything right. We’re all on a journey for the truth. But let's be truthful here -- if Jesus is not His Name, should we all just go on calling Him that because a council of men decided that was okay -- even when the Word of the Creator outlines the great importance of the Name?

Should we follow the time-worn traditions of men because they have been scholars and guides for so long? Isn't that the very group of people the Messiah Himself condemned? Yes, it is, the Pharisees, the teachers of the law, the scribes. He condemned them for ignoring the Word of Elohiym in favor of the teachings of men.

The only tradition I care about is Yahua's (the Father's) Word and what I never like to see is a council with pens in their hands and erasers going back and forth over the Word --His Word to us. Should that be censored?

What are sacred names? Sacred names are believed to be the original names used in Scripture. Much of what we have in our Bibles today are substitutions for the proper names of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I believe the proper names are very important.

I’m not part of any movement other than the truth. I am presenting the truth as I understand it here.

Sacred Names that were replaced/substituted in the Bible:

ADONAI, EL-ADONAI
Lord – translates into Baal in Hebrew, among other things.

ADONAI ELOHAI
The Lord my God -- God is a generic title that crosses all faiths.

ADONAI ELOHAYNU
The Lord our God

EL, ELOHIYM, ELOAH
God

EL ELOHIYM
The Mighty God

EL SHADDAI
God Almighty

EL ELYON, ELOHIYM ELYON
The Most High God

EL OLAM, ELOHIYM OLAM
The Everlasting God

MASHIACH
Christ (Messiah)

RUACH ELOHIYM, RUACH ELOAH, RUACH HAQODESH, RUACH YAHUAH
Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit

RUACH HA'MASHIACH
Spirit of ChristEL-YAHUAH, YAH, YAHUAH
Lord, God

YAHUAH ADONAYNU
The Lord our Lord

YAHUAH AHAVAH SHALOM
God of love and peace

Ok, lets dive in and see what ELOHIYM has to say about His Name, no particular order and this certainly is not an exhaustive list by any means. I love this first verse from proverbs:

Proverbs 30:4
Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?

Again, I personally believe the true Name of the Father is YAHUAH and that His Son’s Name is YAHUSHA, not Jesus.

Speaking about the Son, the Messiah (Yahusha HaMashiach), Luke writes in the book of Acts that there is clearly no other name given by which we must be saved.

Take a look:

Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Does that sound like we have options with what name can be used?

I would say no.

Lets look at some more:

Revelation 22:4
and they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

I believe this is speaking of our mind. Read about marking the forehead and the significance of things like Ezekiel 9:4.

Who do we belong to?

Who do you belong to?

I’ve put a link in the description if you’d like to look more into this topic. I believe the information in that video is very important and it will require you to make a choice. Probably the most important choice you could ever make in your lifetime.

I don’t know about you, but I want to belong and do belong to YAHUSHA. I belong to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit (YAHUAH, YAHUSHA and Ruach Ha Quodesh).

Back to Scripture about the importance of ‘His true Name’:

Acts 2:38
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you
in the name of [ ? ] for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

I believe Yahusha Messiah is the proper Name and title. Why is the importance of the NAME emphasized so much in the Scripture? I think it’s because the father YAHUAH knew they would take it out. They did take the names out, that’s a historical fact. We know they did it and we know because we have the source Scriptures to prove that.

So, the question is, who’s name were you baptized in? Is that important?

I think it is. Why else would Yahusha (the Name I believe is the correct name of the Son) continually command that we must be baptized in the NAME? Not in the idea of, not in another name.

Again:

Acts 4:12
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Who’s name were you baptized in?
